Things are looking up in the life of Luke Hoskins, a.k.a. - The Giant.
Work is getting better, thanks to everyone i work with. If it wasn't for them, i would've gotten out of there a long ass time ago.
I've met some really fucking awesome people these past few days. Connection is key.
My "story" continues to improve.
I'm doing a lot better in school, or at least I'm improving.
Dean doesn't get enough credit for being such an awesome kid.
Me and him are long-lost brothers. That's what I've figured.

so today i found out some bad news.
let's start from the beginning.
for months my right foot has been hurting.
i never knew why though. i just thought i had a bad foot or something.
well last week my dad decides he wants to make an office out of the guest bedroom.
we have to move a huge 400 pound desk up a flight of stairs.
just me and him. and he has a bad back.
so i end up putting a lot of strain on my right foot.
at work that night i felt like my foot was about to fall off.
it killed.
the next day i go to my moms doctor to get an x-ray.
he says that it looks as if i have a growth in my foot. a cyst maybe? or a tumor?
well 2 days later i go to the greystone imagery center to get an MRI.
the results came in the next day saying about the same thing.
possibilities: a cyst, a benign tumor, and malignant tumor, and infected tumor, etc.
they immediately set up an appointment with and orthopedic doctor.
the appointment was today at 2. i get there fill out and application.
takes about 2 hours before the doctor can see me.
he walks in, introduces himself, takes a look at the MRI, and says something horrific.
"well, its looks to me that its a most likely a giant cell tumor."
i was speechless. i asked how long do you think i've had it?
he asked how long has it been bothering you?
i said several months. probably since the beginning of the summer.
he giggles and says well there you go. youve had it for a while. and now its getting a lot bigger.
he tells me its an inch and half in diameter.
that is fucking huge!
and its in my fucking foot. just my luck.
so he then tells us to go down the street to the shades mountian imagery center to get a CAT scan. and says that we need to set up an appointment to get surgery done as soon as possible.
i was thinking maybe in a few weeks or a month. but no.
its next fucking tuesday.
ive never had surgery before. and i liked it that way.
i wanted my first surgery to be something like getting my tonsels taken out.
not a giant cell tumor. fuck that.
but theres no way getting around it. if i dont get it done. it will eventually eat my bones away in my foot. and i will have a foot no more.
i like my feet.

well.
i sold the truck tonite.
carmax bought it for 5G's.
which is almost twice as more than i expected.
ive been looking at cars this whole week.
i really like the mazda 3's.
and im looking at a 3.2CL Type S.
but my dad is afraid of how much the insurance will be.
i guess we will see. hopefully really soon.
i start school thursday.
im not nervous right now.
but when the time comes i will be.
right now im just anxious. im ready for it.
ive decided im just going to go there for a year or so.
then transfer to auburn.
i visited auburn this past weekend. and i liked it a lot.
im just waiting for a huge reality check to come kick my ass.
ill be ready for it though.
